Yadkinville Water + Mold Damage Equals Controlled Demo in Kitchen

This Yadkinville kitchen had a slow leak happening and it resulted in both water damage and mold. SERVPRO technicians needed to remove the cabinet to open the wall up for sheetrock remediation of a substantial mold infestation. Controlled demolition gets used to only take out the loss portions of building materials and leaving the rest, this makes the restoration and repair side of the mitigation go much faster. As seen in the Before Photo, the techs carefully remove the mold loss areas to avoid spreading spores through the air. The techs then use their drying equipment to bring the interior humidity levels down to below 50% and treat the framework with an antimicrobial sealant to ensure there is no return of the mold.
